India is part of the SCO foreign ministers’ contact group on Afghanistan, which has Pakistan as a member. This too is expected to meet on the margins, allowing India to obtain a sense of various conversations on Afghanistan. The foreign ministers is expected to issue a joint statement on the Afghan issue following SCO-Afghanistan contact group meet, ET has learnt.
