PM transfers 8th tranche of Kisan Nidhi to 95 million farmers

Though this was the eighth instalment of ₹2,000 to each farmer since the launch of the scheme, it was the first in West Bengal which had until now refused to take the funds from the Centre, ostensibly due to political reasons ahead of the Assembly polls.
