Curbs on government procurement from China, neighbours may be eased

The condition of pre-registration of suppliers from land-border countries has already been waived for tenders of less than Rs 200 crore, said a government official. This means that those applying for procurement tenders below this threshold won’t need prior registration or security clearance.
