1984 riots: Another case involving Sajjan Kumar put on fast track

The CBI had registered the case against Kumar and two others accused in 2005. They have been charged with murder and rioting in a case related to the killing of one Surjit Singh in the national capital’s Sultanpuri in 1984. It is alleged that Kumar had instigated a mob to kill Sikhs in the area. A charge sheet was filed by the agency in 2010.
