Congress govts of Punjab, Chhattisgarh wait for governor’s response before moving Supreme Court

Two months on, the state assemblies have passed different bills to negate the Centre’s legislations but the state governments have not challenged the legislations. Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh had declared on September 28 that Punjab would challenge the legislations in the Supreme Court. The party had then planned rallies across the state.
