US budget deficit climbs to record USD 2.81 tn, annual deficit may get doubled than all time high

So far this budget year, government receipts total USD 2.82 trillion, off just 1 per cent from the same period last year, Treasury officials said, crediting the "income replacement" provided by various government aid packages. In other words, unemployment benefits and other aid are still taxable.
